Qeshm Island
Qeshm Island with 135 Km length starts from Hormoz strait and develops against LENGEH port in mainland. Qeshm Island’s average width 11 Km has been measured and its area approximated around 1491 square meters. So Qeshm’s area is around twice Bahrain’s and thrice Singapore’s. With respect to 1993 approved act in Parliament, 300 square kilometers of Qeshm Island defined as free trade-industrial region and the rest as Special Economic Region.
Qeshm Island: the best choice for bunkering
Qeshm Island by placing in the way of passing ships has special status in terms of bunkering project. Totally, we can list some of its benefits as follows:

(5) Existence of sufficient land for storage construction and ability to south island jetty exploiting for loading terminal construction of fueling fleets.
(6) Existence of native and cheap workman for all trading and servicing operations.
(7) Exploiting from Island infra-structure facilities like International Airport in order to offering services related to fleets crew exchanging; KAVEH port for equipments transferring, road network, Power distribution, and telecommunication associated with data services.
With respect to bunkering region constructing necessity in vicinity of international passage route, south coastal of Qeshm Island is the most sufficient choice.
